This article is not only about 2 teenagers who become drug dealers, but it is also about the process of life and the stages an individual goes through. Nate and Tropher sound like the typical drug dealers. The beginning of this article makes it seem like it’s so rare for an unintelligent teenager to think of the idea to smuggle weed. From what I know, it seems uncommon for someone who is very intelligent and diligent with their work to deal drugs. As the article continues the boys experience the normal life of a drug dealer with constant inflow of cash. What happens next is kind of common sense. Eventually the “business” gets out of hand and becomes too much for the boys as they face danger and trouble. When murder and robberies start to arise, the boys come to the realization that what they are getting themselves involved in is too dangerous. In life, some people can be naïve but one must experience things for themselves to eventually lead them in the right pathway. I believe everything happens for a reason and this experience taught the Nate and Tropher discipline. This was an experience but one that they do not seem to regret, I mean who wouldn’t be happy making thousands of dollars per week.
